Liebherr 996B Undercarriage Repair

Our Regional Digger Services team recently completed undercarriage repairs on a Liebherr 996B utilising the certified Pakka Jack system to carry out the works safely and efficiently.

The machine’s rolling gear failed prematurely at around 7,000 hours, resulting in damage to the load‑roller mounting faces and requiring immediate corrective maintenance to prevent further deterioration.

Our team in Western Australia, collaborated closely with site personnel to establish the most effective plan of attack. This included discussions with leading hands to gather their insights and align on an approach that would deliver the best result, while minimising downtime for the client’s 996B machine. Once agreed, the plan was executed with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.

The repair works were completed within the agreed timeframe, delivering an optimal result for the client and returning the machine to service with minimal disruption.
