Life at daltech

I enjoy working at Daltech. My Dad is an HD Mechanic and works at Daltech as well and it’s been great working alongside him – Daltech really is a family business on so many levels. Working and learning from my Dad and the other senior HD Mechanics here has been a great learning opportunity for me. I also love the culture at Daltech. We’re all mates and we look out for each other and take pride in our work and doing the best job we can. I’m grateful for the apprenticeship that Daltech have provided and know I’ll work here for a long time. I love the variety of work, constantly learning, and working alongside my mates.

I’ve worked at Daltech for 5 years starting in Metro Field Service before working my way up to becoming a Metro Supervisor. Throughout that time Daltech have provided work flexibility to align with my personal life as well as supporting my career growth which continues to this day in my current leadership role. I really enjoy my job and the fact that I get to work alongside a great team of mates makes it all the more rewarding.

Working at Daltech is beyond a job. During my apprenticeship I had a motorbike injury on a weekend that stopped me from doing my job. The company supported my return to work by giving me light duties and even the company director guided me through my rehab referring me to his very own doctor. I don’t know what I would have done without that kind of support, and I know of others here that have similar stories.

Aside from the financial stability, it’s this family friendly approach that I really appreciate about Daltech. Adam’s supervisor has called me while Adam is away, just to check in on the kids and I, and it’s this family first approach that has set Daltech apart from any other employer Adam has worked for. As a wife and partner, I really value Daltech’s family friendly culture.
