Daltech were approached by a Tier 1 client with a request to provide high end support to the maintenance division at their Telfer project, in an effort to improve the machine availability which was down to 69%.
After initially providing field service support to assist, it was established that a dedicated team would be required to get the maintenance of the 42 machines back on track and achieve the targeted 95% machine availability. Daltech formed a team of 7 personnel consisting of 2 leading hands and a mix of trades.
The team was immediately mobilised to site and spent the next 6 months clearing all backlogs, attending to breakdowns and keeping ahead of the fleets planned maintenance.
Our teams dedication and hard work saw them exceeding their target, resulting in a 98% machine availability.
Having achieved the goal of the project, the client requested for Daltech to remain onsite for the next 3 months and oversee the planned demobilisation and staged transporting of machines offsite at the project’s end.
