The Perth workshop team has successfully completed the first of three Caterpillar 18M3 for a valued client, marking an important milestone for the project.
Following an initial inspection, the team identified a range of items requiring attention to ensure the machine met mine-spec Australian standards. The scope of work included overhauling worn pins and bushes, replacing articulation bearings, completing a full 2,000-hour service, upgrading the fire suppression system, fabricating and installing rear platforms, fitting a new mouldboard and certified rims, and completing radio, E-stop and cab upgrades. The evac station was also serviced and upgraded as part of the project.
This achievement reflects the expertise, commitment and attention to detail demonstrated by our workshop team throughout the build.
From inspection and planning through to final completion, every stage of the project required collaboration, technical skill and a strong focus on quality.
Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering another successful outcome for our client.
