CAT 777F Trucks – Water Tank Swap

Daltech’s client was decommissioning a 777F water cart and wanted the water tank body removed and fitted to another 777F doner truck.

Our Perth Field Service technicians demobilised a CAT 777F water cart in Muchea. They removed the water tank and all associated water tank hosing/valving/harnesses and controls from the decommissioned 777F.

The crew then installed all water tank components to the doner truck, swapping additional parts that were in better condition.

Then the truck was floated back to our Perth workshop for a rebuild. Our Perth workshop team carried out some much-needed repairs and adapted the water cart system to the new receiving truck.

Thanks to the seamless teamwork of our divisions, this resulted in a well-finished, reliable product for our client.
