Fourth Year Apprentice, HD Mechanic
I enjoy working at Daltech. Daltech really is a family business on so many levels.
Working and learning from other senior HD Mechanics here has been a great learning opportunity for me. I also love the culture at Daltech. We’re all mates and we look out for each other and take pride in our work and doing the best job we can. I’m grateful for the apprenticeship that Daltech have provided and know I’ll work here for a long time.
I love the variety of work, constantly learning, and working alongside my mates.

Brandon Thompson
Perth Field Service Supervisor
I’ve been with Daltech for over four years now, and it’s been a great journey both professionally and personally.
I began with Daltech as a field service mechanic and am now in a field service supervisor role. Over the years, I’ve worked on machinery of all shapes and sizes across numerous sites, and every day has brought something new to learn and take on.
What really stands out about Daltech is the team. Not only have I had the chance to work alongside some highly skilled and supportive colleagues, but I’ve also made some great mates here. The amount of knowledge I’ve gained from the Daltech crew has been massive, and it’s played a huge role in my development.
One of the things I appreciate most about this workplace is its flexibility. Since joining Daltech, I’ve managed to continue my travels and have now added an additional 16 countries to the belt! Something that wouldn’t have been possible without the work/life balance this company supports.
It’s rare to find a workplace that helps you grow in your career, while also supporting your lifestyle and hobbies, but Daltech does exactly that. I’m grateful to be part of the Daltech team.

Ben Robertson
HD Mechanic
After spending the first 15 years of my career working on civil equipment, I decided it was time to have a crack at working on something different and joined Daltech.
Before the first few shutdowns I went on, I wasn’t sure how I would go, due to being unfamiliar with the machines. I quickly found that all the team I was sent to site with were easy to get along with and happy to share their knowledge.
I’ve been on the Perth Field Service crew for about 2.5 years now and really enjoy the variety of work and variable roster that Daltech provides. I can be in Perth repairing a moxy one day, the next I could be in Laverton diagnosing a fault with a grader transmission, or in Collie changing out components on a digger. I have also been provided several opportunities to further my development at external training courses.
They promote a good work/life balance at Daltech and frequently give out free tickets to the footy, rugby, cricket etc. As well as organising events to get the crews together such as go karting, lawn bowls, X-Golf.
It’s a great team environment that I’m happy to be a part of.

Adam & family
The words of Susie, Adam’s wife
Aside from the financial stability, it’s this family friendly approach that I really appreciate about Daltech. Adam’s supervisor has called me while Adam is away, just to check in on the kids and I, and it’s this family first approach that has set Daltech apart from any other employer Adam has worked for.
As a wife and partner, I really value Daltech’s family friendly culture.
